Eaton Primary School is situated in the residential outskirts of Norwich, within easy reach of the University of East Anglia, the John Innes Research Institute and the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. It is essentially a neighbourhood school, but welcomes children from a wider area. Children may attend from reception to the end of year 6 (4-11 years old).
The school was built in 1971. The school was divided into a First School and Middle School, but joined to become Eaton Primary School in September 2007. The school enjoys extensive sports facilities, including an indoor swimming pool, large outside playing fields and two school halls. There is a wildlife garden, a spinney and pond and two hard play areas with some newly installed adventure play equipment. The inside space provides a library, upgraded ICT equipment, offices and 12 classroom areas which are equipped with interactive whiteboards.

“Pupils enjoy school, which is reflected in their good attendance and behaviour. They are courteous and polite and usually show respect for one another and for the staff. They respond maturely to having positions of responsibility. For example, they raise funds for charities and offer their ideas for improvement through the school council.”
“Their spiritual, moral, social and cultural development is good and permeates every aspect of school life, enabling pupils to grow in self-awareness, think in moral terms and reflect upon their feelings and actions. “
“Activities, often led by parents or volunteers, help pupils develop understanding, respect and appreciation for their own and other cultures.”
