Hot Lunches

Eaton Primary has a fully equipped and staffed kitchen enabling us to prepare and cook all school meals on site.
A wide variety of food, much of it additive free and low in salt and sugar, is provided. The variety of foods available enables pupils to have a balanced meal.
A two-course meal is provided at a fixed price of £2.00 per meal (this will raise to £2.10 per meal on April 26th 2011). Parents usually pay for this in weekly instalments on Monday for the coming week (Preferably by cheque made payable to Eaton Primary School), with credit for any meal not taken through illness or absence held over until the pupil’s return.

Pupils bringing packed lunches to school are provided with a chair and a table at which to eat their meal. Cutlery and crockery are not provided and therefore children wishing to have a drink should bring their own cups. Drinking water is available.
Drinks such as milk mineral water and squash are also available for purchase at the cost of 20p-30p.
In the interests of hygiene and safety, parents are asked to co-operate with the school in the provision of packed lunches. Lunches should be packed in leakproof containers. Canned drinks, vacuum ﬂasks and glass bottles should be avoided. Parents are advised that packed lunches are not refrigerated at school. Please also help our allergy sufferers by not sending in foods with nuts, thank you.
We also offer a school packed lunch meal and you can view the selection available on the School Meals Menu above, all school pack lunches must be pre ordered for the week and paid for in weekly instalments on Monday for the coming week. (Preferably by cheque made payable to Eaton Primary School)
