Our Support Staff

Our Teaching Assistants (TA’s) usually work with a Teacher in the classroom, making sure that pupils get the most out of lessons, offering one-to-one support where necessary and taking on tasks that enable the Teacher to concentrate on teaching. Our Teaching Assistants are a great team, and many of them also assist in providing extended Schools Activities such as the After School Club as well as active support for the PTA.

Sandra has the important role of over seeing and administrating the administration side of the school, well someone has to do the paperwork! Sandra is friendly and welcoming and her door is always open to Staff and Parents.

Our Office Team: Claire Taylor (Secretary) and Val Metcalf (Assistant) are normally your first port of call when contacting the school and are always friendly and helpful when attending to the many needs of the school, the children and parents. “Claire and Val’s, numerous tasks include attending to children, organising School Lunches, After School Club payments and a whole host of other administrative jobs. Claire and Val are helpful and welcoming and a great support to the staff, pupils and parents that make up the School.”
