Dear Parents/Carers
Elizabethan House Museum and Tide and Tide Museum – Great Yarmouth
We propose to visit the above venue on Thursday 7th July 2011. We will be travelling by coach, departing from the school at 9.15am and leaving at 2.00pm in order to arrive back for the end of the school day.
At the Elizabethan House Museum the children will attend workshops on life in a Victorian town. Our trip to the Time and Tide Museum will be linked to our summer ‘Seaside’ topic. At the museum the children will have the opportunity to visit the seaside gallery and have a hands-on session where they can try on costumes from the past and handle seaside objects. The children will also have the opportunity to visit the gift shop. They can bring up to £2.00 to spend at the shop. Please put any money in a named envelope. All children will need to bring a packed lunch and wear school uniform.
In order to cover the cost of the visit, parents are asked to make a voluntary contribution of £5.60. If you would like your child to take part please complete and return the slip below no later than Thursday 1st July 2011. If you are able to help on this visit please indicate below.
